Jacqueline Martin

I am a physiotherapist with over 25 years experience. Over the last 9 years, I have been working in and specialised in Hand Therapy.

At the start of my career, I worked in the hospital system in both New Zealand and England gaining valuable experience in all aspects of physiotherapy whilst concurrently studying to enhance my physiotherapy skills.

When I returned to New Zealand, I enjoyed working in both the public and private system. At this stage, I was keen to focus on the musculoskeletal field, so studied for the Advanced Diploma in Physiotherapy at AUT. Shortly afterwards, I owned and operated my own private practice in Ponsonby within an Accident and Medical Clinic. This I successfully ran for 4 years whilst studying to become a Physiotherapy Acupuncturist. Another Accident and Medical clinic in Mt Albert presented the same opportunity and I was lucky to own and operate a successful physiotherapy clinic again for several years.

I have found the extensive background I have as a physiotherapist to be invaluable in my approach to assessment and treatment of clients whom require hand therapy. I am passionate about offering excellence to my clients and referrers.
